Boudoir that goes beyond boudoir.
Bower and Bokeh isn’t your typical boudoir shop. In fact, it might not even be fair to call what we do “boudoir” at all.
We aim to capture a moment in time; an authentic record of the person in front of the lens.
We trade perfectly posed and postured boudoir for something more real, more compelling: you, being you, seen through the lens of raw intimacy and natural beauty.

Let’s set the scene.
While other studios tend to rely on the same old boudoir-style sets, Bower and Bokeh sessions take place exclusively on-location. Wherever you want to shoot, we’ll shoot.
Maybe that means we’re shooting in your home, where life and love actually take place. Maybe we’re outdoors somewhere. Maybe we’re at a close friend or partner's house. Maybe a hotel. Maybe it's a sexy downtown shoot that ends with a spicy evening at home.
The possibilities are endless. Whatever story you want to tell, we'll help you tell it — wherever we might end up.
The lack of need to rent or maintain a studio space means less overhead too, which translates into lower costs and bigger value for our clients.

For real, for real.
Our approach to photography prioritizes authenticity above all.
That means no fake studios with phony 2D backdrops and faux chandeliers.
No contrived list of poses that the photographer runs through over and over, day after day, client after client.
And absolutely no AI or airbrushing at any point in our process. Ever.

A style all (y)our own.
Our shooting style is unique within the boudoir scene. Think early-aughts digital flash photography with a dash of film grain for good measure.
The result? Photos that feel intimate, natural, and candid in a manner that stands on its own.
Where typical boudoir is excessively editorialized, our approach is very much the opposite: we love the little imperfections that make a shot feel alive.
A crease in a piece of clothing. A lock of hair out of place. Dimples and bumps, marks and scars. All these details make for shots that capture a beauty authentic and intrinsic to you.

Bang for your buck.
Have you shopped around at other boudoir studios? It’s sort of crazy.
You pay hundreds of dollars for a rushed 30-minute session — and then if you actually want any of the photos you just took, you’ve got to pay even more.
When you collaborate with us, your session is your session, whether we’re on set for one hour or three. We’ll shoot in as many spaces around your home as you like, and you can have as many outfit changes as you want. There’s no sprint to get everything done within an arbitrary time limit.
Not only that, but we document every session from start to finish, making for some amazing behind-the-scenes photos, too.
Best of all, the cost of accessing your photos is included in the flat fee you choose up front, so there are no extra charges or surprises later on.

Boudoir is for everybody.
Bower and Bokeh believes that boudoir is for everybody, regardless of age, race, body type, identity, orientation, or any other arbitrary label society likes to fixate on.
We make our sessions a safe space, prioritizing client comfort, ongoing consent, and open communication at all times.
We believe human beings are beautiful in all shapes, sizes, and forms — and we can’t wait to collaborate together with you.
